Pro Elite and Guiseley School strengthen partnership for 2026-27

Pro Elite Academy is delighted to announce an expanded partnership with Guiseley School - one of the most highly regarded secondary schools in the region - ahead of the 2026-27 academic year.

The relationship between the two organisations is not new. Our Girls Scholarship programme has been based at Guiseley Sixth Form for some time, and it has proven to be an excellent environment for female student athletes to develop both on and off the pitch. From September 2026, we are proud to confirm that our Male Scholarship programme will also be delivered there, bringing both programmes together under one roof at a school that shares our values around education and performance.

Guiseley Sixth Form is a serious place of learning. 30% of students achieve A* to A grades, 81% achieve A* to C, and 95% go on to their first or second choice of higher education destination. These are not numbers that happen by accident - they reflect a school that invests in its students and takes their futures seriously. That is exactly the kind of environment we want our players developing in.

For the 2026-27 intake, Pro Elite students applying to Guiseley Sixth Form will have access to a wide range of subjects including A Levels and Applied Level 3 qualifications - both of which are recognised routes into university, higher apprenticeships, and degree apprenticeships. Subject options include Psychology, Economics, PE (CTEC), Mathematics, Geography, Media Studies, History, Sociology, and more. Students who perform better through coursework and project work rather than exams will find the Applied route a strong fit - and both pathways lead to the same destinations.

On the football side, the setup is built to make both commitments viable. Students train with Pro Elite on three mornings per week and compete in a highly competitive league on Wednesdays. All education is delivered on site at Guiseley, and the school has a brand new 4G pitch used for both training and matchdays. The timetable is designed around the student athlete - not the other way around.

Our aim, as always, is simple. We want every student who comes through this programme to leave it ready - for senior football, for university, for work, for whatever comes next. The partnership with Guiseley School gives us the best possible environment to do that.

If you are currently in Year 11 and want to find out more about becoming a student athlete at Pro Elite Academy, contact us at info@proeliteacademy.co.uk or apply through the link on our social media profiles.
