The Pro Elite Guiseley Female Football and Education Programme enables talented Year 12 and Year 13 students to play full-time football alongside pursuing their studies.

FULL-TIME FEMALE FOOTBALL PROGRAMME

The Pro Elite Academy Girls Football and Education Programme, in partnership with Hanson Academy, enables talented Year 12 and Year 13 students to play full-time football whilst pursuing level three qualifications.

 

This one-of-a-kind programme for female athletes in the area provides the perfect platform to develop both on and off the field in a sporting and educational capacity - with numerous exit routes available including UK & US University, as well as apprenticeships and work placements.

On the programme, girls will be given the opportunity to train four times per week - with one game per week in the prestigious National Football Youth League competition alongside a number of professional clubs including Leeds United and Huddersfield Town.

 

Hanson Academy is the base for our Girls Football and Education Programme.

TRAINING PROGRAMME

Players on the Pro Elite Girls Football Programme will train in a full-time professional-style football programme at Hanson School.

 

Training is delivered by our highly experienced and fully qualified coaching team, who are all holders of UEFA and FA coaching badges.

 

Our training sessions focus on a number of key aspects of football development - aiming to improve technical, physical, tactical and psychological areas of the game.

 

Players are given the opportunity to train four times per week in a professional programme.

 

As well as team sessions, we also work with players on an individual one-to-one basis to further accelerate their development.

GAMES PROGRAMME

Pro Elite Girls will compete in the National Football Youth League, a prestigious competition made up of full-time professional teams across the North of England.

PROFESSIONAL COACHES

Pro Elite Academy players are given the opportunity to learn from a dedicated team of fully qualified coaches.

 

Our coaches have a vast amount of experience working at high-levels in professional and semi-professional coaches.

 

All coaches are holders of FA or UEFA coaching badges, the leading qualification for professional coaches across the country.

 

Not only this, our coaches also work with players closely off the pitch to ensure their mental wellbeing and education are the best that they can be.

The system tracks players and provides insights into key metrics including distance covered, top speeds, sprints and power outputs.


VEO Sports Cameras

VEO is an automated camera solution which films our matches and training sessions, with all videos uploaded onto our online portal.

Our team of dedicated analysts use footage from VEO cameras to deliver analysis sessions for our players.

THE EDUCATION PROGRAMME

BASED AT HANSON ACADEMY

Students on the Pro Elite Football and Education Programme are required to complete a Level 2 or 3 Qualification in CTEC Sport.

 

Students pursuing the Level 3 Qualification have the option to choose one or two other A-Level subjects - which enable our players to progress to university in the UK or abroad.

 

Students work according to the Hanson Academy expectations when in and around the school, with learning taking place during one full day and three half days at school. 

 

The training and school timetables will be planned to complement each other, with players having the option of a wide range of A-Level subjects.

LEVEL 3 OPTIONS

Students that have achieved a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths at GCSE will have the option to choose either single or double Level 3 CTEC in sport.

Students work according to the Hanson Sixth Form expectations when in and around the school, with learning taking place during one full day and three half-days at school.

LEVEL 2 OPTIONS
